Re-Opening Plan: Phase 1
begins June 8, 2020
We miss you all so much and hope to have you back in the studio soon!
We finally believe it is time for a gradual, soft re-opening, beginning Monday, June 8, for in-studio group classes!
This is phase 1, and it is subject to change as we must be flexible and respond to this day by day.
Re-Opening Plan:
Monday, June 8 will begin our in-studio classes.
Every class will be live streamed, and you can continue to practice with us from home. Just sign up for the livestream class on the schedule, and use your pass or purchase individual classes and class packages at the reduced live stream rate.
We will offer weekday classes in the morning, noon, and 4 pm. Weekends will be a limited schedule for now.
In-studio classes will have restrictions:
9 Student Max to maintain social distancing.
Pre-registration through Mindbody will be required. Please be sure to cancel if you can not make it to class to make space available for others.
NYN will offer no hands-on assisting.
Students must bring their own mats and props.
If you feel at all sick, please do not come in.
If you feel that you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or if you have been in quarantine with an essential worker in the medical field, please do not come in.
If you feel that you have an elevated risk of contracting the illness, or of severe complications from the illness, please do not come in.
We are asking that everyone cover their nose and mouth in the lobby due to the close quarters. You may choose to practice in a mask; however, we will not ask you to wear a mask in the classroom.
No heated classes for now.
Use of the shower is not yet available.
In-studio classes will also be available to live stream. Please be sure to sign up for the appropriate class. All NYN Live Stream Classes are listed as such on Mindbody.
We will add classes as we see how this goes!
We will continue to offer pre-recorded classes at newyoganow.teachable.com - forever. These classes are available to purchase and are included in our unlimited membership packages. We are thrilled to offer our services through this platform and would love for you to join us there. Please visit newyoganow.teachable.com to learn more.
Please understand that while we are anxious to get back to normal, we must be extremely careful and strategic as we make this transition. The safety and wellbeing of our students and teachers is our first priority. We are also working hard to coordinate our schedule around adjusted childcare arrangements and with consideration for those who are quarantined with essential workers, family members with underlying conditions, or the elderly. We are so grateful for your patience and understanding as we make this transition.
yours with gratitude,
Erin and Kendall
