About the wonderful Marcy:

Marcy Braverman Goldstein, Ph.D. earned her degree in Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  She has taught at UC Riverside, Davidson College, UNC Charlotte, the Stan Greenspon Holocaust and Social Justice Education Center, Loyola Marymount University, etc. and at Embodied Philosophy, an online educational platform where she also directs the Mentorship Program.  As Founder and Creative Director of Sanskrit Revolution, Marcy teaches yoga history, Sanskrit, ethical speech, philosophy and more at yoga teacher training programs nationally.  Currently she is designing a multimedia yoga education resource.  Drawing from her academic background and 20+ years practicing and teaching asana, Marcy creates broad ranging classes that illuminate the language and culture of yoga, explore wisdom traditions, and inspire personal growth.
